# Forecasted Amount for Resources to be Renewed within 7 and 30 Days

## What is the Forecasted Amount for Resources to be Renewed?

The forecasted amount for resources to be renewed is a financial planning auxiliary tool provided by the console. The system automatically filters undeleted resources expiring within the next 7/30 days on a daily basis and calculates the total forecasted renewal amount and the number of resources.

In the past, you needed to manually simulate renewals on the "Renewal Management" page to estimate the amount, which was cumbersome. Now, you can directly view the forecast data on the Overview page, apply for funds from your company in advance, and achieve efficient financial management.
## Viewing the Forecast of Resources to be Renewed
Log in to the console, go to the Ubill Cost Center Overview page, and view it in the Resources to be Renewed module.
The module displays:

- **Total Amount**：The total forecasted amount for all resources to be renewed within the next 7/30 days.
- **Resource Quantity**：The total number of undeleted resources expiring within the next 7/30 days.
- **Update Frequency**：Data is updated daily at 10:00.

Click the View button on the right side of the module, and the system will redirect to the Renewal Management page, directly presenting the list of resources to be renewed to facilitate subsequent batch renewal operations.

# How the Forecast Is Calculated

The system identifies all active (non-deleted) resources that will expire within the next **7 days** or **30 days** and estimates the renewal amount based on each resource's billing model.

### Hourly Billing

The forecast is calculated based on the estimated number of renewal hours multiplied by the hourly unit price. Any partial hour is rounded up to a full hour.

**Example**

> Current time: **July 1, 2026**
> Forecast period: **Next 7 days**
>
> Resource A expires at **10:00 on July 4, 2026** and is billed at **USD 2/hour**.
>
> The system calculates the renewal cost required to keep Resource A available from **10:00 on July 4** until **00:00 on July 8**, and includes the result in the forecast.

---

### Daily Billing

The forecast is calculated based on the estimated number of renewal days multiplied by the daily unit price. Any partial day is rounded up to a full day.

**Example**

> Current time: **July 1, 2026**
> Forecast period: **Next 30 days**
>
> Resource B expires on **July 20, 2026** and is billed at **USD 20/day**.
>
> The system calculates the renewal cost required to keep Resource B available until **July 31, 2026**, and includes the result in the forecast.

---

### Monthly Billing

The calculation method depends on whether the forecast period crosses into the next calendar month.

- **Within the same month**: The forecast includes the renewal cost required through the end of the current month.
- **Across months**: The forecast includes the renewal cost through the end of the current month, plus the cost of the next full monthly billing cycle.

**Example 1: Within the Same Month**

> Current time: **July 1, 2026**
> Forecast period: **Next 7 days**
>
> Resource C expires on **July 28, 2026**.
>
> Since the forecast does not extend into the next month, the system calculates only the renewal cost through **July 31, 2026**.

**Example 2: Across Months**

> Current time: **July 1, 2026**
> Forecast period: **Next 30 days**
>
> Resource D expires on **July 28, 2026**.
>
> Since the forecast spans the next calendar month, the system calculates:
>
> - The renewal cost through **July 31, 2026**.
> - One additional monthly billing cycle.
>
> The sum of these two amounts is included in the forecast.

---

### Yearly Billing

The forecast is based on the cost of **one full annual billing cycle**.

**Example**

> Current time: **July 1, 2026**
> Forecast period: **Next 30 days**
>
> Resource E expires on **July 25, 2026**.
>
> The system estimates the renewal cost for one additional year and includes the amount in the forecast.

---

### Total Forecast Amount

The estimated renewal amounts of all eligible resources are added together to produce the total renewal amount for the selected forecast period.

**Example**

> Current time: **July 1, 2026**
>
> Three resources will expire within the next 7 days.
>
> The system calculates the estimated renewal amount for each resource and displays the total as the **Estimated Renewal Amount**.

---

## Note
The amount for resources to be renewed displayed above is an estimated value calculated by the system based on the current resource status. Due to potential changes in resource configuration, billing strategies, or discount factors, the final deducted amount is subject to the actual paid order amount.
